An experienced life drawing artist, Jan Elpel has embraced quick draw sketches because the spontaneity of gestural lines and shapes often captures the essence of the individual. This exhibit of Elpel’s is a retrospective of work, which includes a variety of media: charcoal, watercolor pencil, pastel, and oil on both board and canvas.
